Boomerang

“A reward for everything!

Living with a kind heart
And a reward for such

Living with an evil heart
And a reward for such

Living in ignorance
And a reward for such

As you make your choice, boomerang’s chosen.”

_Sams.

“If I knew it was going to be measured back to me this way, I would have been more circumspect with how I measured. Life is indeed full of surprises. The good, bad and ugly, surely will receive their rewards. I wouldn’t like to thread on such paths of “if I knew” anymore because I know now that boomerang is for sure.” _Anonymous

Imagine someone setting a trap for another person and him or her stepping on same trap! Unexpected right? Failed plan. What about a scenario where you damaged a thing and later find out that it worths being preserved. That feeling of regret right? We sow and reap. Such is life!

Boomerang according to dictionary.com means to come back or return, or to cause harm to the originator, as a backfire. Life is a game of boomerangs. Everything we do, say and think come back to us sooner or later. Meaning it’s what you give, you get. If you’re always doing good and it hasn’t come back to you yet, don’t wonder much. It will surely come back like a boomerang. Wait for it because it’s yet to mature. Remember what goes around comes around.

“Life truly is a boomerang. What you give, you get.” _Dale Carnegie

In essence, living well with others and oneself is essential. Especially when we have the thought of reaping whatever we sow guiding and keeping us in check. Surprisingly, some persons have decided to sell their conscience and therefore behaving as they please. Treating their subordinates as slaves, working with an “I don’t care attitude” and feeling like they own the world and rejecting good advise. Remember pride goes before a fall and you’re free to make any decision you wish. But you’re not free from the consequences of that decision.

People achieve more as a result of working with others than against them.” _Dr. Alan Fromme

Remember this:
Do you know why you have to live right? It’s because life itself isn’t a boomerang but what you do in life. It won’t come back to you. You have now for yourself. Make full use of the life to do the necessary even if you don’t want to.

To get all that life wants for you, give out what I call the Boomerang Effect: give out what you most want to see come back.” _Robin S. Sharma
