After All… Foresight’s Needed

“Fallen but still not down
Lost but found
Local yet recognized
Invincible but still seen

After all…
Can’t back out now
Past, forever gone
Foresight’s needed.”

“No matter how the night tarried, there will always be day. That has been part of my watchword in trying times and I will always hold unto that till I breathe no more. Yesterday’s events are lessons to guide me into the next event of my life. I have gone too far to back off now. I just have to keep moving on till I get to my destination.” _Anonymous

Foresight according to is an act of looking forward or foreseeing. Movement is part of the sign that something isn’t static. After all the things that might have happened in our lives, the good and the bad, we need to look forward for a better life ahead. To do this, there’s the need for well calculated measures. Believe in your own dignity, worth and yourself. Let nobody make you feel you are nobody. Don’t let yourself down. You have a role to play in this life and you will accomplish that with your determination to succeed in your field of endeavors. You accept defeat when you feel you can no longer continue your quest. Life is a journey, so don’t stop!

“Cut your losses, learn your lessons and move on.” _Evan Marc Katz

Most of us lack the virtue of moving on. When we meet those roadblocks, we tend to lose focus and dwell on that same spot. We lack self-motivation to go beyond what we see as obstacles. There’s no human that won’t meet one problem or the other as he or she voyages this earth. Ask the sailors, pilots, drivers, etc if the road, sea or air has always been smooth. You will hear different stories of storms, bumps and all other barriers they have met on their journey. But at it all, for survival, they don’t just relax because of those barriers, they maneuver and apply all kind of skills to scale through. You need such skills in your various field of endeavors to get to your destination.

“Problems are not stop signs, they are guidelines.” _Robert H. Schuller

For those of you who believe in the negativity about your life, I want you to know that YOU ARE WHAT YOU SAY YOU ARE. Just accept what is ongoing now, let go of what was because you can’t find it in your rear mirror and have a clear faith in what will be. Just move on in life and whoever wants you will always catch up with you. You don’t need to carry everybody along because same persons might be the one dragging you behind or making you static. Remember that people can change, things can go wrong, strange things happen, but none of these should keep you static. Life goes on, so get foresight and move on.

“Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose.” _Lyndon B. Johnson

No one would want you down if they don’t think you’re above them. That’s how they see you. A threat for no just reason. You know what? as you move on, don’t surround yourself with people who would solve your problems but rather those who won’t let you face them off. And if peradventure something bad happens, you have three choices. You can either let it define you, let it destroy you, or you can let it strengthen you. Don’t let anyone dim your light simply because it’s shinning in their eyes. Most successful people have gone through such stages and came out victorious. You can also be victorious. Just move on!

Close some doors. Not because of pride, incapacity or arrogance, but simply because they no longer lead somewhere.” _Paulo Coelho

Remember this:
The past is your lesson, the present is your gift and the future is your motivation. New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings. The greatest adventure is what lies ahead. Just like Martin Luther King Jr. puts it, “if you can’t fly, run. If you can’t run, walk and if you can’t walk, then crawl.” Don’t just stay there. Keep Moving!
